1. Where are the products from?
The clothes are made by us in Iasi, Romania. 13Grade is the brand through which the knitting company Marcroman is selling its products. All the products seen on the website, excluding some accessories, are made by us. [back]

2. Who makes them?
The clothes on the website are made by us. The knitting plant Marcroman started production in 1999. We have worked for the export market in big quantities and under strict quality rules. From 2005 we produce also under own brand: 13Grade. [back]

3. Do you have anything else then Knitwear?
No. On the website you will find only products made by us. Because we have a knitting company, you will find on the website only knitwear. [back]

4. What size is good for me?
We usually make products in 3 sizes: S, M, L. We chose this symbolization to ease size assigning in international market. There are a lot of countries that use another size system. To get what size best suits you, please check our Size Chart [back]

5. How do I choose another color or size?
In product page you can choose between available colors. When a color is selected, you will see available sizes for that color. If one size for a specific color is not available any more, it will not appear online. If you can not find a specific size, try with another color. [back]

7. Can you create a product only for me?
Because of the high costs of sampling, designing a product makes sense only if it will be launched in production afterwards. Therefore we will not create on order one piece product. 8. Why should I make an account?
To be able to make an order on our website you have to make an account. The details entered in this account are needed for the package to be sent to you. Please provide a valid email address and a valid phone number so we could get quickly in contact with you and clarify all misunderstandings related to your order and ship the products as soon as possible. 9. How many account types exist?
The website is made for 3 types of accounts: normal user, stylist and partner store. By logging in a normal user the content of the website does not change. A normal user can navigate, select and place an order. The stylist has more the possibility to edit and publish "Stylist note" that appears in product page. By logging in a partner store, the content of the webpage changes showing direct stocks and discounted price for larger ordering quantity. [back]

10. How can I choose another account type?
The access toward Stylist and Partner store accounts are given by us on a preferential basis. You can not change the type of your account by yourself. To modify it, please contact us and tell us the intention. There is no supplementary cost to it. [back]

After logging in you will get in My Account page. To get here later, press your name or the account icon in the upper right menu. You can modify your detail here. [back]

13. Favorite products? How can I use them?
Clicking on "add to favorites" in the product details will add the product to a favorite list that you can access later through "favorite products" icon in the upper right of the page. This list will permit quick view and quick ordering of the products if available. [back]

14. How can I delete an account?
You can not self delete an account. To do that, please send us an email with the request using the same email address as stated in your account. If you no longer can access that email address, please let us know. [back]

15. Who can order?
Any person or company from European Union can order. This website is made for orders from this specific space. [back]

16. The price shown is the final price?
The price includes VAT, so it is the final price for the product. There will be added also the freight costs and payment costs. All these costs you will see on the page finalizing the order. The price seen on that page is the final price for the order. [back]

17. If I take more, do I get a discount?
For us more means over 400 Euros. The website is not made to give discounts after a specific value. If you wish to order over this amount, please contact us. [back]

18. How can I see that my package is being delivered?
We use desktop stock management software. When a product is scanned for leaving after a specific order, this modifies the state of the order online in order history from "in waiting" in "sent". This means that your product was packed and is being in the way to you. Please let some days for it to arrive. [back]

19. This is not what I have ordered. What do I do?
If you find in the package something totally different that what you have ordered, please urgently contact us. If the order is right but you don't want to keep the products, please see our Returning Policy . [back]

20. I want to send the product as a gift. What should I do?
At leaving our plant, a product is being scanned and a final label is attached. This final label caries information like price, composition, care instructions and so on. Also in the package we ship the invoice. If you would like to send this order as a gift to another person, please let us know so we could print a label without the price and send you the invoice on another address then the package. [back]

21. Do you have a store? Where can I see the products?
Yes, we have own stores. Also you will find our products sold through partner stores. You can see here a list of Shops. [back]

22. Should I buy from store or from online shop?
If you have to opportunity to buy our product from a store, we would suggest on taking that opportunity rather buying from online shop. We have a special policy towards partner stores and we hope that this will bring our products to you at the same price as online. Although that we tried to get as much information to you so you could buy online, some senses cannot be transposed online, like touch for example. Then, it is easier to try a product to see if it fits then using an online shop. We have developed this online shop in order to present our products to people that can't see them in a store. [back]

23. Do your products sell also on other online stores?

25. From what stand 13Grade?
13Grade means 13 Degrees Celsius in Romanian language.

You have to ask us some years ago when we have chosen this name as today we got used too much to our brand to question its provenience. With no doubt it is a bold name, but it made us laugh when we got it under discussion, so here we are with this name today. I think that we all have different stories to it and we do relate to it in different ways. It doesn't matter why we chose it, it matter more what it means to you now. We hope to add another dimension and another meaning for this name to your through this concept and through our quality . [back]

26. How is made a Pullover?
It starts with fashion forecasts for the next years, forecasts found in special magazines for designers and manufacturers. Then a color palette is being chosen by ordering specific color yarns from yarn catalogs from yarn suppliers. We usually work with yarns from Italy. On the basis of a sketch, we make small samples of knitted structures. We choose the best one for the given sketch and we knit panels with the new established knitting settings. These panels will be used for first samples. A series of adjustments will come in between the first sample and the final sample. Once the prototype ready, colors and quantities on sizes are being settled and the product is ready for production.

Generally speaking, any knitted product is made on a knitting machine. We have a series of fully automated flat compact knitting machines of 10gg and 7gg. The programming is done on special programming stations. The confection is easier than a woven product confection and it uses some special machines for knitwear. The final quality check and storage is made in house. [back]

No. We try to keep our website as clean as we can. No other links, banners or other elements will be found on the website. [back]

30. Do you sponsor contests or other events?
Yes. But we give prizes in our products and not in money. Also we sponsor events that do not inflict any damage to our brand, has a minimum of quality of the content and has the final effect of good awareness of our brand to customers. [back]

Please note that through location we don't mean photo studio but rather urban setting or any real life setting. A studio picture we can make it in Iasi as well. 34. What is Lohn (CMT)?
Lohn or CMT is an outsourcing production system. The client brings the yarn, the pattern, the size charts, while the manufacturer produces the order. In many cases the client brings a sample to resample and make production on it. This sample usually belongs to a series of prototypes made by the client elsewhere. The Lohn system does not require designing capabilities from the manufacturer but rather only manufacturing quality and speed in a given price range. [back]

35. Do you produce in Lohn (CMT)?
Yes. We are Lohn orientated company from the beginning in 1999. We have worked after various ways of partnership from those based on Lohn till direct orders. We can suggest a better alternative to pattern construction, design the product, sample it, manufacture, pack it and deliver it. [back]

36. Why should we choose to produce at you?
If you are based in European Union, we have the advantage of fast deliveries and no custom requirements by being inside European Union. Romania is known for many years for the quality of production in textiles. A very solid platform exists here and we do take all the advantages from it. Not to mention a strong relation with our Romanian premium Textile Engineering University located also in Iasi.

37. What are your minimums?
There are several cases that have different answer to this question. If you come with your yarn, this makes the problem simpler and we could manufacture virtually any quantity you would like. If we have to buy the yarn, then the minimums are related to the minimum quantity that we have to buy from yarn suppliers per each color and how many products can be made from it.

We tend to say that we have no minimum quantity, but for lower orders than 500 pieces on a style we would charge you more on a piece to cover expenses made with sampling . [back]

38. Do you participate at Fairs?
Yes. We have been at CPD Dusseldorf, Moda Uk Birmingham, CPM Moscow. We will get in other Fairs as well. [back]
